We welcome all skill levels to our pottery classes, wheel-throwing classes, clay classes, and hand-building classes at our studio in Cheyenne!
Join us for an adult pottery or wheel-throwing class, make memories at a pottery class for kids, or refine your skills at one of our intermediate or advanced classes.

Join us for a night of sip and spin (BYOB) as we walk you through the basics of wheel throwing! Sometimes it can be nerve wracking to try something new, so relax with a beverage to sip and have some fun as the wheel spins! In this one-time 90 min. session your instructor will guide you through the basics of how to center the clay, pull walls and shape the clay using a pottery wheel. Students may keep up to two of their favorite pieces to be fired and glazed.

This course's small class size allows our instructor to assist students and tailor individual lessons as needed to help you grow your skills with spinning clay. This course meets once a week for 4 weeks. Beginners will learn the basics of how to throw on the pottery wheel. We will start by building your confidence in centering to making fully functional pieces like mugs or bowls. We will then spend a session on surface treatments and glazing your favorite pieces. It's not as easy as it looks, but we know you can do it with a little help from our instructors. Our small class size benefits you with more one-on-one attention from the instructor and a chance to get to know each other.

Working with clay slabs is a great way to achieve forms with angles and textures that are not attainable on the pottery wheel.
In this class we will explore hand building with slab techniques and forms, creating templates, applying texture, and a surface design carving called sgraffito on functional pottery. Due to the small class size no prior experience is necessary and all levels are welcome.
This course meets once a week on Wednesdays for 6 weeks.

Fairy House

Build your fairy house, embellish with flowers and mushrooms, then paint your fairy house with underglaze. All levels welcome. Wilderness Pour Platter

Learn a new glazing technique with our Wilderness Pour Platter class! In this class you will learn how to pour glazes onto a bisque platter to create a unique atmospheric effect. First you will choose one platter to glaze, the large square platter or organic shape platter. Then you will be guided through all of the steps to create your own wilderness scene, with your choice of animals, using the pouring technique! We will then fire your piece and call you when they are ready to pick up, please allow approx. 2 weeks to pick up your finished platter.

Serve your signature lemonade in something special this year! In this Pretty Pitcher Class over two sessions, you will build and then glaze a pitcher and two cups. In the first session on May 15th we will show you how to hand-build a pitcher and two cups from slabs of clay, with plenty of opportunity to personalize and make unique! Then in the second session on May 22nd you will return to glaze your pitcher and cups! Make this Pretty Pitcher and cup set start to finish! Please allow approximately two weeks to pick up your finished pieces. All levels welcome. All materials, instructions, and tools to personalize your teapot will be provided.

In Kid's Clay Camp, kids will explore clay, building a different project each day! Each 3 hour session is a hands on experience working with clay, building and then painting their projects!
